![]() ![]() You can also use the output as a direct recording option. Notably, though, the output jack provides a filtered signal that cancels the noise and emulates the amplifier’s speaker on your headphone. Here we find a simple offering with an XLR input for your guitar, plus a headphone out / line out for silent practice. There’s not much going on in the input/output section. There’s nothing that jumps out as “cheap,” even though the amp has plenty of PBS materials (cheap plastic).Ī guitar amplifier this small and light can sit at the top of your desk easily. Overall, the amplifier looks just like a Vox amp should look, only a bit smaller. That means you could carry it around from one place to another without too much hassle. It has the size and the weight of a launch box because it’s a small practice amp. There’re other small details, like white and gold bindings on the side that captures the legendary Vox looks. Also, it has the brand’s chicken head knobs. Also if I connect the speaker wire to a jack and plug that into my mixer it works fine. The classic look of the Vox Pathfinder 10 includes the basket-weave grille, the leather material in front of the speaker, and the colored diamond grille cloth. I've also tried with a separate (tested and working and matching 8 ohm like the original) guitar speaker and exact same issue. I Have tried different guitars and different line in instruments and it creates the same distorted low bit-like buzz sound and loads of noise/buzzing. On higher volumes it plays ok-ish, a bit distorted on clean but with loads of noise/buzzing, and if strummed lightly the quieter notes it still cuts/buzzes out as the note/chord rings out. It is creating a lot of buzzing and noise when plugged in, on low volume settings the guitar is basically inaudible and creates lots of hissing and noise/buzzing/hum, however as I bring the volume up to about a 3 it becomes a very distorted buzzed sound (similar to lower volume noises on an 8bit gameboy/synth or a bit reducer on a low setting). Hello I have a Vox Pathfinder 10 guitar solid state 10w amp with a strange issue. ![]() There are other subreddits to look for gear and to sell it, one of which you will find below.
